A Natural Vocation for
Apiculture
Cearapi, located in the Cariri region
of Ceará state, Brazil, was stablished in 1998 in
the Araripe National Forest, an area with almost 100.000
acres of native forests that received permanent preservation
status from IBAMA (Brazilian Environmental Institute) in
1945. Our bees flourish in these boundless hinterlands
where wildflowers bloom year-round, free from any
kind of conventional farming or chemical fertilizers, pesticides
and fungicides.
